The Lamwo District Deputy Resident District Commissioner - Mr. Oguti Sebestian Oswin has commissioned a 100-acre tree planting project worth 380 million tree project for ten different communal groups from Paracele and Padwat parishes in Nyimur Sub- County in Lamwo district under Development Response to Displacement Impact Project (DRDIP). The project is being funded by the World Bank through Office of the Prime Minister.
The DRDIP Desk Officer for Lamwo District - Mr. Nyeko Wilfred says the tree planting project being implemented by the groups in Nyimur sub county is the largest tree planting project in all the 15 districts benefiting from DR-DIP and carrying out tree planting .
